Step 1 - Instagram Login
Log into your Instagram account on the same desktop (Mac / PC) and web browser (Chrome / Safari / Edge etc) you use to access your website.
Step 2 - Website Login
Log into the backend of your website using the same desktop and web browser you have just used to log in to your Instagram account. (This can be in two different windows/tabs, however the same browser is required)
Step 3 - Reconnect Instagram Feed
Go to Instagram Feeds > Settings > Manage Sources > and select 'Add Source'.
You will then be redirected to Smash Balloon which is the platform that provides the connection between your website and Instagram.
Select 'Personal' unless you know your Instagram account is a Business account.
Uncheck the 'receive emails' checkbox then select 'Connect with Instagram'.
You will then be redirected to the Instagram Authorisation page. Leave options enabled and select 'Allow'.
You will then be redirected back to Smash Balloon for security confirmation. Select 'Yes, it's my domain'. You will then be redirected back to your website where your Instagram feed has now been reconnected.
Step 4 - Test Feed
You will then be redirected back to your website where your Instagram feed has now been successfully reconnected. To test your Instagram feed, simply, refresh your web browser to see if the feed is working again.
Step 5 - Clear Cache (Troubleshooting)
If the Instagram feed doesn't appear to load the latest images, the feed's cache to be cleared. Go to Instagram Feeds > Settings > Feeds (Tab) > and select 'Clear All Caches'. Finally select 'Save Changes'. If this still hasn't worked you may need to clear the website's cache and/or your browser's cache and try Step 4 again.
